The Gi, the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner's uniform is similar to a judogi, but, often with tighter cuffs on the pants and jacket.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a cutting edge fighting art developed from traditional Jiu-Jitsu by the Gracie family of Brazil.
Even though Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu contains standup techniques for winning a fight, it is famous for its devastating ground fighting techniques.
Before jiu-jitsu became a sport, it was a martial art based on the principals of respect, hierarchy, discipline, self-control, self-confidence, patience and many others. The objective is rendering the opponent into submission.

The lack of the use of the Gi. The practitioner can use normal clothes, shirts, shorts...

The difference between gi and no-gi Brazilian jiu-jitsu is in the grips. In the stand-up game, the grips provided by the gi allow for many judo-style throwing techniques, while no-gi takedowns resemble those of Greco-roman and freestyle wrestling.
Grips also come into play on the ground. Where the gi ground game is slow, measured, and technical, no-gi tends to be more fluid and fast-paced.
